Job description - Test Manager: Maximum Billing rate:- INR 25 lacs Per Annum, Location Bangalore, Hybrid, 2 days a week Payroll - AviinTech Business Solutions Client : KPMG Contract Duration - 1y Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Test Manager to lead and oversee all testing activities across System Integration Testing (SIT), Payroll Comparison Testing, and Business Acceptance Testing (BAT) for large-scale HR and Payroll Transformation program. The role is responsible for defining the overall test strategy, ensuring comprehensive test coverage, managing multiple testing streams, and providing leadership to testing teams to deliver high-quality business outcomes. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in both manual and automation testing principles, test governance, stakeholder management, and quality assurance methodologies. They will act as the central quality leader, ensuring testing activities are aligned with business requirements, project objectives, and release timelines. Key Responsibilities Define and own the end-to-end testing strategy covering SIT, Payroll Comparison Testing, and BAT. Provide leadership and direction to testing teams, business users, and stakeholders. Oversee test planning, execution, defect management, and test reporting. Ensuring each test phase meets the entry and exit criteria defined. Drive risk-based testing and quality assurance to support successful releases and go-live readiness. Provide clear testing dashboards, status reports, defect metrics, and quality assessments. Communicate testing risks, issues, and mitigation plans to leadership. Facilitate decision-making through data-driven quality insights. Present testing readiness recommendations and go/no-go assessments. Required Skills & Experience · 10+ years of testing experience with at least 5 years in a Test Manager role. Strong experience leading SIT, BAT, and Payroll Validation/Comparison testing. Solid understanding of manual and automation testing principles and methodologies. Experience with HR, Payroll, ERP, or enterprise application implementations. Strong stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills. Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid delivery methodologies. Demonstrated experience in defect management and testing governance. Success Measures · Comprehensive test coverage across all testing streams. Effective coordination of testing teams and business stakeholders. Timely defect resolution and accurate quality reporting.
